Spring Cup 2008
The Spring Cup was held on 4th May at Meon Springs. The winning bag weight was just 9lb 2oz by Sue Patterson. The runner up was John Wiseman with an 8lbs 8oz bag. The average bag size was down on last years competition at the same venue, by an average of approx 4lb per bag or 1lb per fish. A few members did comment that the fish were noticeable smaller on average than we expect from this venue, however the fish were good sport and hard fighting.
Club Champion 2008
The club championship was held on 4th October 2008 at Manningford. The winner was Tony Hogg with a bag of 14lb 10oz. Second place was Andy Parker with a bag of 11lb 12oz.
